The Witness on Father John Judie's Ministry from Australia
My name is Father Julius Chamlungu. I come from East Africa, in Tanzania, I was ordaineded a Priest in the year 2007.
In the Diocese of Morogoro ,for the moment I have come to Australia to preach the word of God as a Catholic priest for four years, from the time I came here it is only a month and 3 weeks.
When I was reading some e-mails, John Judie's Ministry came to my mind so I’m here to witness John Judie's ministry.
I have seen the wonderful sermon of Father John Judie with the title REFLECTION ON 10 YEARS OF MINITRY.
I was alarmed, because from that same ministry Father John Judie cared for me when I was in the junor seminary at St.Peter’s seminary, because through that same ministry, Father John Judie cared for me when I was A Frater at Kipalapala senior seminary. He supported me economically and spiritually,as my spiritual Dad, because of that same ministry Father John went until to my home village, Tawa Parish he could even eat local food which we thought it could endanger his health ,but he was strong, encouraging us, he coud even eat bad beans with stones on it, through that same ministry Father John is paying the school fees of untold number/a big number of the orphans ,the poor and the like ,through that same ministry Father John during my Ordination to priesthood sent me the vestments for Mass and the Golden looking Chalice, through that same ministry father john as my spiritual Dad has been sending me all his beautiful sermons to guide me and we could stay together speaking on the power of the prayer for more than an hour and the like.
He also faced many difficulties but he never gives up, just like he has written on his reflection of ten years! No one does ministry for oneself. No one gives of oneself without some one else, no one lives for oneself and no one dies for oneself, ministry happens because people dare to care. The hands that receive are a blessing to the hands that give. Let us put our hands and hearts together.
He did the ministry not only in Tanzania but in East African countries ,there was a time I even talked to him that in Rwanda, there was a problem in security, so he even sacrifices himself, he is really exceptional, and he is still my spiritual Father. That is not only what he did but that is only what I have to say at the moment because I’m in hurry.
Remaining Blessed by your spiritual son,
